Sunglasses and a high-protection sunscreen are also very much recommended. Many Tours involve walking long distances and sometimes on uneven terrain, therefore, comfortable walking shoes are best.

Tipping- this is never required but always appreciated, especially by guides and drivers. A 10% to 15% service charge may be added to the bill in hotels and restaurants.

Credit Cards - Hotels, restaurants, and larger shops all accept credit cards including American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Smaller shops and local Souks prefer cash payments in Jordanian Dinars.
