Following a night in Nairobi to relax depart late morning on safari to Amboseli. This safari covers the shimmering plains of Amboseli and then continues Tsavo West and Taita Hills. Here you will certainly see some great herds of elephant and antelope before continuing to Mombasa’s spectacular coast.

Upon arrival into Nairobi, clients will be met and transferred to the Eka hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Overnight at the Eka hotel in a superior room on a bed and breakfast basis. (Check in time is 1400hrs approx. and will be adhered to. Clients arriving in the middle of the night must book a pre-night as they will not be permitted to wait in the hotel lobby check-in at 1400hrs.

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

This Luxury Camp is located on the Soysambu Conservancy, right on the shores of Lake Elementaita. Offering a blend of exclusivity and adventure, the new camp will comprise 25 luxury tents, a dining and lounge area, spa and swimming pool enjoying magnificent views of the Lake. Soysambu Conservancy is a wildlife sanctuary that offers uniqueness whilst boasting a broad range of wildlife and bird species, it is also home to the Rothschild giraffe and is East Africa’s only breeding ground for the Great White Pelican.

Following early breakfast, depart to Tsavo West arriving your lodge for lunch. The journey takes you east, across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. A zig-zagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads you into Tsavo National Park, which together (East and West) form the largest of Kenya’s parks. Following lunch depart on an afternoon gamedrive, , including a visit to Mzima Springs with its underwater viewing holes. Return to the lodge as the sun sets.

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge

Superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro and sheltered by the volcanic splendour of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game. One of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park's prime attractions.

This morning, following early breakfast, and a gamedrive enroute to the gate, continue to Taita Hills Sanctuary arriving for lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort. Following lunch, transfer to Saltlick Lodge. After a short siesta, depart on an afternoon gamedrive, returning late afternoon. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure, viewing game from lodge’s underground hide or from the lodge balcony.

All transport and game drives on safari sector will be in a safari minibus with pop-up roof (maximum 7 passengers) with an English speaking driver-guide on shared basis.

Filtered water will be provided in the safari vehicle. Guests must bring their own reusable bottle on game drives.

Please note:-

  • The itinerary may need to be re-routed or accommodation in similar lodges in case of non-availability.
  • Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. Passengers shold only bring luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm. 
  • Other pick up points / drop off points will be subjected to a pre-bookable surcharge.
  • Children under 7 years are not allowed on this safari.
  • All guests must be at the hotel in tme for the briefing session.
  • Prices are available to stay at other safari lodges, please call for quotes.
  • This tour can also be booked on a private basis at a supplement and children under 7 years are allowed.
  • Check in time is 2pm at the Eka Hotel in Nairobi and will be adhered to. Clients arriving in the middle of the night must book a pre-night as they will not be permitted to wait in the hotel lobby check-in at 2pm.
