We have had a complaint in Swindon branch about a holiday booked through Major, partly against us and partly against them. Major (and in particular Mary Arpino the Sales & Marketing Director) have been absolutely fantastic, making the customer a very fair offer but more importantly keeping our branch in the loop, liaising with the branch manager about their findings before drafting anything up to the customer and checking that their response looks ok with us first – very unusual but great stuff. The customer is looking for any excuse to take their complaint further and I am absolutely certain that Major’s professionalism has prevented the customer having ammunition to redirect the complaint against us (unlike the usual tour operator response: blame your travel agent!)

We had a potential problem with a group booking where the return flights were rescheduled by one day - I emailled Paul who runs the helpdesk, never had to chase him up and this morning received an email advising me that it wsa fixed, no extra cost, no work for me - just fixed!
