Founded in 1974 by the Widdowson family, Major Travel was created to serve the needs of travel agents. Whilst the company has grown to become a significant wholesaler in the travel industry the core family values upon which the business was established upon still remain at the heart of the company's culture and ethos. Id certainly recommend Major Travel, I rang reservations because I needed to hold a flight seat for a customer, I was greeted professionally and very friendly I held the seat and later called back to confirm it, it was emailed the invoice and e ticket immediately, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to obtain all the documents without continuous phone calls and hassle, I would also like to advise that the feed into isell is excellent and the rates are very competitive.

I recently tried Major when I was trying to match an Expedia quote. The consultant did her best to get near the price and the customer booked. This gave me confidence to try them for my next quote and they were cheaper than any other operators and was soon followed by another booking. I have found the consultants to be helpful, they have held options and booked airline seats for me and having a Freephone number is vital when I’m a homeworker! I have advertised lots of their great deals too. There are also lots of great incentives for us – I look forward to many more major bookings in the future, and would highly recommend.
